ISPO 2019: Camp De Base
L’Effet Caféine is a spatial design agency with over 10 years experience in space planning and brand visibility based in France.
L’Effet Caféine commissioned The Design Laboratory to collaborate with them on the creation and design of an engaging stand solution for Camp de Base; helping them represent the numerous outdoor sports brands at the ISPO Munich 2019 (the largest trade fair for sports business).
Spatial & Product
The project goal was to take the path of resource optimisation by creating an innovative space designed with recovered materials. The Design Laboratory created a new layout concept by incorporating a new visual identity for Camp de Base inspired by outdoor activities.
From the way-finding and communication inspired by trekking in the mountains, to the colourful ropes adorning the stands which are direct cues to ascension climbers, the Camp de Base stand exhibiting within the collective space can be visible within the larger exhibition space, while having its own stand in the Base Camp: a friendly, lively and eco-designed space.
